Be Prepared !

For the Day:

• Bring chair(s) for the BBQ

• Bring warm clothes for cold or rainy weather

• Bring swimming suit if you would like to swim at Red River Hot Springs which is located one mile from where the ceremony will take place and costs $6 per person. (They only accept cash or checks but do have indoor plumbing and hot showers.)

• See Above

• Extra food and water (the closest grocery store is in Elk City 25 miles away)

• Any camping gear you might need. (Sleeping bags, flashlights, cook stove, etc.)

We can’t stress how remote Red River is. Unless you are staying at a place that specifically says they have a bathroom, most places have outhouses. Most places run on propane and diesel generators that are usually turned off at night. It does get cold there at night so have extra warm clothes and in case of rain bring rain gear because we are having the wedding rain or shine. But please, don’t let this deter you. Red River has some of the most beautiful and breathtaking scenery there is and we are planning an awesome afternoon and evening of food, fun, and celebration!
